Family Business Education Certificate Program - A Basic Course of Family Business Study

Course Description and Syllabus

We are excited to share the details of our new certification program; Family Business Education: A Basic Course of Family Business Study.  The program is offered in 7 sessions running from October through May. All sessions are held at businesses in the Fox Valley.

This program is designed to give those relatively new to the management of a family business the basic foundation of the dynamics of a family or closely held business.  This program provides a way for a cohort of individuals to both learn from the presenters and to establish a network of resources to help them build the foundation of their family business career.

As a result of the sponsors generously agreeing to both host and be presenters, we are able to offer this program at a very low cost.  We limit the number of participants to 25 in order to encourage team building among the participants.

Please print and share the attached brochure with anyone who you feel could benefit from participation.  If you have any questions about the program please contact any member of the development committee – Dale Feinauer (feinauer@uwosh.edu); Sandy Friess (sfriess@wipfli.com); Phil Janes (pjanes@omscom.com);  Anne des Marais Vought (ades78@aol.com).

Registration is closed for the year ending May 2010. If you would like to be placed on the waiting list for next year's class, please contact Donna Nelson at nelsond@uwosh.edu or 920-424-1541.
